[00:02.20]The PotterÌÕ¹¤
[00:05.46]Once there was a very religious and skillful potter whose pottery was well-known far and wide.
[00:12.05]However, he was not satisfied with his finely crafted but fragile pottery.
[00:17.38]He thought if the pottery made by him could be unbreakable,
[00:21.34] his reputation and his business would be even better.
[00:25.70]He prayed hard to God to grant his wish for unbreakable pottery.
[00:30.62] One night, he dreamt that God said to him,
[00:34.00]¡°If you are sure you won¡¯t regret it, I will make your wish come true.¡±
[00:39.37]The potter said, ¡°Yes, God, I am sure that I will not regret it.¡±
[00:44.62]The next morning, the first thing the potter did when he woke up
[00:49.00] was to test whether God had granted his wish.
[00:52.21]In his workshop, he used the clay to craft a pot.
[00:56.16] Then he dried it under the sun.
[00:58.89] When the pot was dried, he lifted it and dashed it to the floor.
[01:03.59]The pot did not break! The potter was filled with joy.
[01:08.84]The news of the unbreakable pots made by the potter spread very fast.
[01:13.98]People from all over the world rushed here for his pottery.
[01:17.81]He became very rich and famous.
[01:20.88]But, the good fortune did not last.
[01:23.83] After a while, his business slowed down.
[01:26.67] Although everybody kept praising his product,
[01:30.00]whoever bought one did not need to buy another again because the pots were unbreakable.
[01:36.30]The business got poorer by the day, as did his financial status.
[01:41.65] He now kept praying to God to let him recover his original pottery.
[01:47.12]One night, he dreamt that God appeared to him.
[01:50.84] Tearfully, he begged God to forgive him for his foolishness.
[01:55.00]God said, ¡°Because you admit your mistake,
[01:58.85]I will forgive you and make your latest wish come true.¡±
[02:02.65]So from then onwards, the potter¡¯s original pottery was once again in great demand.
