BEIJING, April 16 (Xinhuanet) -- "Harry Potter" actor Daniel Radcliffe is to make his musical debut on Broadway by starring the 1961 Pulitzer Prize-winning "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying", media reports Friday.
Based on Sheperd Mead's 1952 book, "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" premiered on Broadway in 1961, with Robert Morse playing the protagonist.
Matthew Broderick starred a revival of the play in 1995. A 1967 film adaptation starred much of the original cast re-creating their roles.

Actor Daniel Radcliffe arrives for the premiere of the film "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" in New York July 9, 2009.
"How to Succeed" tells how J. Pierrepont Finch, a young window washer, soars through the ranks at New York's World Wide Wickets Company -- until his own attempts at coming up with a "brilliant idea" threaten to topple his house of cards.
The 21-year-old Radcliffe is known by the world for his portrait of the wizard Harry Potter, a character in the celebrated book series by J.K. Rowling. He has starred in six massively successful Harry Potter films, and another two will hit the screen later this year and 2011.
Radcliffe made his Broadway debut in the play "Equus" in 2008.
