CAIRO, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed and ten others wounded on Thursday in clashes between Muslims and Coptic Christians in Menya governorate south of Cairo, state-run Ahram website reported.
The clashes occurred due to the disputed plot of land between the Muslim and Copt residents of two villages in Menya. Both sides used firearm during clashes which resulted in death of one Muslim and one Christian as well as injuries of another ten people from the two sides.
Security forces rushed to the scene to stop the clashes and prevent more casualties.
