MOSCOW, Nov. 11 (Xinhua) -- One people was killed and four others injured when a helicopter made a rough landing in the southern Russian region of Stavropol, Russia's Emergency Situations Ministry said Tuesday.
The Ka-32 helicopter was making a test flight as it made the rough landing and caught fire at 18:35 Moscow time (1535 GMT). There were five people on board at the moment of the crash. The captain of the helicopter was killed in the accident, while four others suffered from injuries of various degrees and were brought to a medical institution for treatment, according to a source with the ministry.
Firefighters, rescuers, medical workers, as well as officials and specialists of different departments rushed to the crash site for rescue efforts. An investigation team has also been sent to the scene.
