BRUSSELS, April 20 (Xinhua) -- One of the suicide bombers for the explosions in Brussels airport on March 22, Najim Laachraoui, would have worked at the airport for five years, the Belgian television channel VTM reported on Wednesday.

Laachraoui would have worked under a temporary contract with a company at the airport, according to the report.

VTM stressed that the man was familiar with security vulnerabilities of the Brussels airport.

The report also revealed that a clandestine prayer space was discovered by airport police shortly before the attacks on March 22.

The concerned spot near the baggage handling area, was a meeting place for radicalized members, according to information from VTM.
